President
- Oversee all board members and make sure that they are fulfilling their responsibilities.
- At the begining of school year, go to the bank and update check signers (need 3 board signers; President, Treasurer & usually secretary). Bring with you meeting minutes from election which state the members board position & ID.
- Review bank statements
- Approve/deny all reimbursement requests
- Work closely with sponsorship/banners chair (Make sure sponsors logos are posted on website, social media & weekly blast). Make sure sponsors receive Thank-you letter for Tax write-off.
- Work Closely with comitee chairs on major events
- Explore opportunities to fundraise.
- At end of school year identify nominating comitee chair (around March-April)
Treasurer
- At the begining of school year work with the board to create a budget, have president & treasurer sign & date it. ( At the first PTSA members meeting ask membership to approve it). After approval, submit to corresponding secretay for website upload.

- Pull monthly bank statements & reconcile
- Make deposists
- Issue payments
- Enter all transactions into accounting software
- At the end of the school year submit all needed docs. for audit/Tax to the accountant.
VP Cubs (Lower School)
- Oversee/organize all lower school events & work with event comitee chairs.
- Work with the volunteer coordinator to form event comitees & assign chairs.
- Nominate & oversee the "room parent coordinator" and ensure that all lower school teachers have a room parent assigned (work with volunteer coordinator on this).
- Oversee Adopt-A-Class program & maintain balance spreadsheet. Ensure that all teachers are adopted (work with room parent coordinator on this).
- Mail duty once/week
- Oversee spirit store/maintain inventory & assign Spirit Chair.
- Work with Membership chair to recruit new members
- Oversee PTSA office supplies/inventory
VP Lions (Upper School)
- Oversee/organize all upper school events/activities & work with event comitee chairs.
- Communicate to upperschool parents about all upperschool specific news/events.
- Work with the volunteer coordinator to form event comitees & assign chairs.
- Mail duty once/week
- Work with Membership chair to recruit new upper school members
- Work with lower VP on Adopt-A-Class program to ensure that all upper school teachers & electives are adopted.
Recording Secretary
- At the begining of school year create a calendar of PTSA events, after board's approval submit it to corresponding secretary for publishing.
- At the begining of school year, create calendar for board meetings & members meetings, after board's approval, submit it to corresponding secretary for publishing.
- At the begining of school year create mail rotation (for board members).
- Create by-laws (use template) and get all parties to sign it & submit it to the State PTA, also submit it to corresponding secretary to upload to our website.
- Complete PTSA chapter registration on the state website at the begining of school year.
- Create an Agenda for every PTSA meeting & distribute it to all members at least 2 days before meeting (follow PTA format).
- Take Minutes during every meeting (follow PTA format). Distribute minutes to all members after meeting.
- At the end of school year submit all agendas with meeting minutes to the Treasurer. (treasurer will be submitting everything to the accountant for end of year audit.)
- Mail duty once/week
Corresponding Secretary
- Maintain PTSA website throughout the school year.
- Maintain Godaddy/e-mail account- renew when necessary.
- Oversee all Social media chanels (assign & oversee social media chair to assist).
- Send out weekly blast every Sunday evening (can be prepared throughout the week). Collect school news from principal's e-mails, facebook posts, teacher e-mails and any other sources).
- Create event flyers (recruit a parent graphic designer who can assist)
- Make sure that all sponsors info. is advertised on social media, weekly blast & website.
- In the begining of school year upload to website PTSA calendar of events with dates (obtain it from recording secretary).
- In the begining of school year upload to website, all PTSA members meeting dates (obtain it from recording secretary).

- Respond to any questions/issues related to PTSA
Volunteer Coordinator
- At the begining of the year, recruit one student and two teachers (one upper & one lower school) to join our executive board, work with the Principal to identify volunteers for these positions.
- At the begining of the year recruit comitee chairs & maintain contact list of all active comitee chairs
- Work with school administration/staff to identify areas of need for volunteers
- Work closely with comitee chairs & assist in recruiting volunteers when needed (use social media, weekly blast, and other platforms such as remind,etc.)
- Work with Membership chair to assist with recruiting new members
- In the begining of school year, post on social media/blast instructions on how to become a volunteer (background check process).
